Today is Monday, and it is living up to its reputation! Such an abrupt day, ripping you out of the lulling happiness that comes with the weekend.
On days like this, make an effort to get out for lunch, breathe some fresh air, stretch, watch a funny clip on YouTube. Something! So much of how we move through our life is framed by our mental state. If you are stressed and having a “I-hate-my-life-and-should-have-moved-to-Hawaii-after-college” sort of day, break through that roadblock.
No kidding, I will sometimes take a few minutes between patients to do a yoga pose or two. That’s right, full on crazy mode! But it clears my head.
