Running Analysis
“Be fit to run, don’t run to be fit” – Bryan Heiderscheit
We believe in order to be the best therapists to this complex group of people (that’s you, runners) we must stand on the shoulders of giants in the field of running research.
Dr. Heiderscheit is the director of research at the university of Wisconsin school of medicine and public health and his quote sums up what we believe to be the best way to address and avoid running injuries.
Sure, there are times when we all need to take a step back and just let our bodies heal but for many runners that’s just not an option. It’s not rocket science but it does require:
- The skill to juggle all the variables of running (there are a lot, believe me)
- Identifying the culprits
- Progressing you back to your full running potential
Sound complicated? It is. And we love it ❤️
